PADI Divemaster Course

The PADI Divemaster course is the step up to becoming a diving professional
2-3 months you will work with me every day in my diving school and learn the profession “Divemaster” from scratch.

You expand your theoretical knowledge and diving skills to a professional level.

You will learn how to organize a dive center, how to plan and conduct diving courses, and you will take part in all diving courses, both in theory and in the practical part.

You hold theory lessons yourself, help your diving instructor with training in the pool and in the open water.

You will learn how to conduct a dive briefing and how to guide and mentor divers underwater.

Furthermore, you have to prove your physical fitness through certain fitness exercises.

 

Prerequisites for the Divemaster course:

  • Be certified as an Open Water Diver (OWD) for at least one year
    certified rescue diver
  • Be at least 18 years old at the start of the course
  • At the beginning of the course you need at least 40 credibly logged dives in your personal logbook.
  • A signed medical certificate confirming that you are fit for scuba diving (must not be older than 1 year)
  • Proof of a first aid course with cardiopulmonary resuscitation that must not be older than 2 years.

including training material and the dives you still lack (about 15,000 baht), which you need for certification as a divemaster.
To be certified as a Divemaster, you need at least 60 dives.
